3-Day Outlook: Wednesday, March 13-Friday, March 15

High pressure builds across the Saint John Valley with partly sunny skies across the area today. A low pressure system approaches tonight with increasing clouds and snow showers after midnight that change to rain showers later Thursday morning continuing into the afternoon. 

Precipitation tapers off Thursday evening with partly cloudy skies overspreading the Saint John Valley overnight into Friday morning. Partly sunny skies are expected across the region Friday with a slight chance for rain showers mixing with snow in the evening as low pressure tracks across the Gulf to the south and a cold front moves across the region from the northwest.

4- to 7-Day Outlook: Saturday, March 16-Tuesday, March 19

Snow showers are possible Saturday morning mixing with rain in the afternoon and overnight period. Another low follows from the west Sunday with morning snow showers and afternoon rain/snow mix that continues Sunday night and Monday. Mostly cloudy skies are expected Tuesday as low pressure stalls out over the Maritimes with scattered snow showers over the course of the day Tuesday. The spring equinox, which occurs at 11:06 pm EDT Tues. March 19.
