Louisiana-Pacific’s Houlton manufacturing facility achieved an important safety milestone last month.
The mill marked one year injury free on Feb. 22.
This is the first time the mill has achieved this milestone since 2020, before it was converted to a siding facility, plant officials said.
Companywide, Louisiana-Pacific is an industry leader in safety. Since 2007, LP has achieved a world-class total incident rate (TIR) below 1.0. In 2023, that number dropped to 0.5.
