    PRESQUE ISLE – Hilda Annie McFarlane Ritchie died peacefully on August 22, 2014, at Mars Hill Nursing Home in her hundredth year. She was born April 6, 1915, at Coleraine, Northern Ireland, to John and Eliza Jane Brockerton, she was the youngest of five siblings.
    Hilda will be sadly missed by her loving daughter, Maureen and husband, Laurence of Presque Isle; grandchildren, Gavin Watterson and partner, Angela Bell of Portland, and Lauren and Peter Rosella; also great-grandchildren, Jasmine and Jude of Penfield, NY, and Kerry Watterson and partner, Justin Oldenburg of Brunswick.
    She was predeceased by her husband, Eddie in 1969.
    The family wishes to express their thanks to Dr. Nicholas and staff of Mars Hill Nursing Home for their excellent care and concern over the last four years.
    A Memorial Service was held Tuesday, August 26, 2014, at 12 p.m., from the chapel of Faye Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Academy St., Presque Isle.
