The County Community Players are pleased to announce the recipient of this year’s $500 scholarship. Annual scholarships assist area students in their pursuit of higher education in the performing arts. Areas of study may include lighting, sound, set or costume design, acting, directing, stage management, writing for theater or film, dance, choreography, music performance or education.
This year’s recipient, Jamie Henderson of Presque Isle High School, has participated in theater since grade 5. They have been involved in all aspects of theater, from acting to costume and set design. Jamie will study theater at the University of Southern Maine.
