The County Federal Credit Union awards scholarships

PRESQUE ISLE, Maine —The County Federal Credit Union awards scholarships to nine graduates who will further their education in the 2024-25 academic year. For over 26 years, The County has awarded nearly $160,000 in scholarship money to local students.

Amelia Bate graduated from Easton High School and will attend the University of Maine at Orono for chemical engineering.

McKenzie Cooper graduated from Caribou High School and will attend the University of Maine at Orono for elementary education.

Kinza Dudley graduated from Penobscot Valley High School and will attend the University of Maine at Orono for child development & family relations.

Saige Evans graduated from Old Town High School and will attend Husson University for nursing.

Cadin Ewer-Cousins graduated from Orono High School and will attend the University of Southern Maine for marketing.

Sophie LeBlanc graduated from Fort Fairfield High School and will attend Washington Community College for criminal justice.

Izabel Pryor graduated from Central Aroostook High School and will attend the University of Maine at Orono for elementary education.

Ella Suitter graduated from Hodgdon High School and will attend the University of Maine at Orono for nursing.

Jillian Zeigler graduated from Caribou High School and will attend the University of Maine at Orono for wildlife ecology.

The County Federal Credit Union serves Aroostook, Penobscot and Piscataquis counties with branches in Caribou, Presque Isle, Fort Fairfield, Mars Hill, Houlton, Howland, Old Town and Bangor.
