PRESQUE ISLE — Verna May (Adams) Scaggs, 78, passed away, Tues, Sept. 16, 2014, at the Aroostook Health Center in Mars Hill. She was born Aug. 23, 1936, the daughter of Sherman and Marion (Barclay) Adams.
Verna enjoyed country and bluegrass music and loved traveling to festivals in Maine and New Brunswick with her friends. She also enjoyed going to the “Market” in Canada and was very fond of the music and all the friendships she made at Campers Paradise.
She is survived by her son Robert Scaggs. There will be a time of visitation to celebrate Verna’s life from 3- 5p.m., Wednesday, September 24, 2014, at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle. Online condolences may be expressed at www.duncan-graves.com.
