MELBOURNE SMITH, left, and Frank Grant, members of the Presque Isle Community Players, rehearse for the upcoming dinner theater production, “A Celebration of the Singer-Songwriter.” Smith, who is directing the production, plays the banjo and harmonica and will sing “Ol’ 55” by Tom Waits during the Oct. 10-11 and 17-18 shows, while Grant, who plays the guitar, will sing John Fogerty’s “Southern Streamline.” All performances will be held at the University of Maine at Presque Isle Campus Center.
