Fox is the person to vote for
To the editor:
Larry Fox is running as a candidate for the Maine House of Representatives, District 147, Presque Isle. Larry comes from a farm family, well-known throughout Aroostook County, and he’s the father of two, as well as the grandfather of two. He understands what Aroostook County and its economy is all about.
We have known Larry for many years. My wife taught at Cunningham Middle School with him for 10 of those years. While he had great rapport with all the students, he also set boundaries that they understood and respected. In addition, Larry has actively served as a former school board member, church president, and a member of the board of deacons. We have known Larry as a very kind man, caring about those around him and always willing to help out.
Although we don’t live in Larry’s district, we know that he will do a great job representing the area, both economically, professionally, and with integrity. With a master’s degree in public administration, he is well equipped to serve our area of The County in Augusta.
Larry is invested in jumpstarting the economy of Aroostook County, and indeed, Maine. He wants to help reduce state spending and lower the tax burden for working Mainers. He believes that one of the best ways to help Maine’s economy is to increase educational opportunities to prepare our kids for college and sustainable careers. He is dedicated to protecting our seniors, children, and most vulnerable citizens. And he wants to help preserve Maine’s outdoor heritage for generations to come.
Larry is the person to vote for in the upcoming election. He will represent the Presque Isle area in a professional, intelligent, fiscally responsible manner. We have no doubt that he will do a great job when he is elected.
