    Washburn’s newest gas station, convenience store and diner is now open for business.

Washburn Trailside, located at 1094 Washburn Rd., opened on Nov. 13. (A full business story will run in a future edition of The Star-Herald.)

Fall Family Dance

    The Washburn Parent Teacher Organization is hosting a Fall Family Dance on Friday, Nov. 21, from 7-9 p.m. at the Washburn District Elementary School cafeteria. The dance is sponsored in part by Country Farms Market and other area volunteers.
The cost is $5 per couple (parent and child) and $2 for each additional family member, with all proceeds benefiting the Washburn PTO. The cost includes a photo with a fall-like background, light refreshments and dancing for the entire family.
