PACKARD, Elmira Mary, 84, MAINE, November 23, 2014.
MAINE – Elmira Mary Packard passed away on November 23, 2014. She was born January 25, 1930, to William and Nora Sturgeon of Presque Isle, ME. She attended schools in Presque Isle and Caribou.
She was pre-deceased by her husband, Dana L. Packard, in 2005. She is survived by her children: son, David and his wife, Susan Packard, of Lyman ME, son, Andrew and his wife, Linda Packard, of Charlottetown, P.E.I. Canada, and daughter, Sharon and husband, Donald Levasseur, of Sebastian, FL. She is also survived by her brother, Victor Pelletier of Sebastian, FL; five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
She and her husband, Dana, were owner/operators of two restaurants in the Saco-Biddeford area for many years until their retirement. Her hobbies included stitchery, reading, and flea-marketing. She loved antique linens and jewelry.
A burial Mass was said on December 2, at St. Martha’s Church, in Kennebunk. She was buried beside her husband, Dana, in the Maine State Veterans Cemetery in Augusta.
