    DOVER, NH & PRESQUE ISLE, ME – Phoebe A. Hansen, 76, of Constitution Way, died peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, December 9, 2014. Phoebe was born on March 4, 1938, in Presque Isle, the daughter of Thomas and Lena (Brayall) Markey, sister of Verna Kay Treffery.
    Phoebe entered Civil Service after graduating high school and worked in various roles during her service. She retired as a Logistition in ’91 after serving the government for 38 years.
    She loved being with her family, reading and watching sports, especially her beloved Celtics and Patriots.
    Phoebe is survived by her son, David and his wife, Patricia Hansen; grandson, Yanni Hansen of Cumberland, RI;  nephew, Steven Robert Griffin of Presque Isle; and great-nephew, Thomas Griffin of Houlton.
    In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to: Maine Transplant Program, 19 West Street, Portland, ME 04102.
