Mary Wilson Coffin

     COFFIN, Mary Wilson, 78, PRESQUE ISLE, at Bangor, December 15, 2014. A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, January 2, at the Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, Presque Isle. 

    PRESQUE ISLE – Mary Wilson Coffin, 78, passed away December 15, 2014, at a healthcare facility in Bangor. She was born on April 5, 1936, in Presque Isle, the daughter of Frederick and Mildred (Clark) Wilson.
    Mary was a “County Girl” at heart and was proud to be from Presque Isle where she served as a member of Grant Memorial United Methodist Church.
    She is survived by her daughter, Maryjo Tardif of Brewer and her beloved daughter, Laurie Ann Coffin of Brewer whom she loved so much; sister, Joyce Morton and her husband, Douglas, of Orono; two grandchildren, Corey Thomas Tardif of Brewer and Sierra Coffin of Bangor; and several nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind a very special friend, Winnie Gardiner.
    In addition to her parents, Mary was predeceased by her son, Andrew Coffin; and daughter-in-law, Kimberly Coffin.
    Friends may call 10 a.m., Friday, January 2, 2015, at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church Street, Presque Isle, where a celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m., with Pastor Christopher Dare, officiating. Interment will be held in the spring at Fairmount Cemetery. Donations may be made in Mary’s memory to Alzheimer’s Association, Maine Chapter, 383 US Route One, Suite 2C, Scarborough, ME 04074.
