PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — The PROBUS Club of Aroostook met at Northern Maine Community College’s Reed Commons Dec. 18, with 19 members and one guest attending.
The Christmas program was opened by President Dana Crory. Ginny Joles, program chairperson, introduced Alysa Snow of Masardis, who provided the special entertainment.
Snow, who is employed by TAMC’s communication and development department, played Christmas songs in various keys on the piano. Snow began playing piano at the age of 5 and has been an instructor for 10 years. At age 12, she learned the violin and joined the Northern Maine Chamber Society Orchestra a year later.
At the PROBUS program, Snow teamed with Marion Gilman on a duet. A Christmas dinner was served by NMCC following the music special.
The next meeting will be held Thursday, Jan. 15, also at Reed Commons.
