Maine Potato Conference to be held next week
CARIBOU — The 2015 Maine Potato Conference will be held Jan. 21-22 at the Caribou Inn and Convention Center.
This year’s conference will feature a trade show sponsored by the Central Aroostook Young Farmers and two days of educational programs. There will be presentations on crop rotations, tillage, PVY, wireworms, on farm grain storage, potato wart, storage management, the Florida test results and more.
Pesticide recertification will be available.
The conference will kick off Jan. 21 with a 6:30 a.m. breakfast hosted by the United States Potato Board. The educational programs begin — both days — at 8:40 a.m.
