     NEFF, Madeline M. (Cloukey), 83, VERNON , CT & ASHLAND, at Conn., January 24, 2015. She will return home for her final resting place in Ashland, with a springtime burial. Arrangements are under the care of Leete-Stevens Funeral Home & Crematory, Enfield, CT. 

    VERNON , CT & ASHLAND – Madeline M. (Cloukey) Neff, 83, passed away peacefully Sat., Jan. 24, 2015, with her loving family by her side. She was born Feb. 21, 1931, in Ashland, the daughter of the late Arthur and Leona (Rose) Cloukey.
    She was retired from Cuno Corporation, worked at Roosevelt Mills in Rockville for over 20 years, and was a member of the Women’s Auxiliary VFW of Ashland.
    She was an adoring mother and grandmother, loved cooking, and her dog, Chico.
    Madeline is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Gloria Carney of Vernon; her grandchildren and their spouses, Mark and Katie Carney Jr. of Vernon, Amanda and Joseph Venti of Broad Brook, Shannon Kinney of Tolland, and Jessica Carney of Vernon; grandson, Joshua King of Vernon, CT; her great-grandchildren, Anthony, Alexa, Joseph and Jordon; and her brothers, Rene, Herman, Frederick and Hubert Cloukey.
    She was predeceased by her daughter, Theresa Kinney; and her husband, Clarence Neff.
