    Those unable to get to basketball tournament in Bangor this month will still have opportunities to listen to and view the tournament basketball games beginning this weekend.
Beginning Friday, WHOU 100.1 FM and whoufm.com will provide audio only for all of the Eastern Maine D contests, and will follow Caribou, Presque Isle and Houlton in their games in classes B and C right through the regional finals.
WEGP 1390 AM and wegp.net will provide similar coverage of Aroostook County teams from Mars Hill north throughout the EM tournament.     Channel X Radio (WCXU 97.7 FM, WCXX 102.3 FM, WCXV 98.1 FM and W276AY 103.1 FM) returns for its 17th consecutive year of tournament coverage, according to vice president/general manager Richard Chandler. Partnering with WZON 620 AM in Bangor, the Caribou-based station will cover all the teams from Houlton north throughout the regional tourney.
Lisa Miles, general manager of Townsquare Media Presque Isle, said Monday that an audio stream of all tournament games, provided by Townsquare Media Bangor, will be available through the website www.929theticket.com.
The National Federation High School Network has the exclusive contract to videostream the quarterfinals only. These 24 games will be offered on a pay-per-view basis. The cost is $9.95 for the day or $14.95 for the month. This will allow viewers to watch games by logging on to www.nfhsnetwork.com/channels/maine, from all three Maine tournament sites — Bangor, Portland and Augusta.
Starting next Wednesday, Feb. 18, for the basketball regional semifinals and finals and the state finals, games will be available on MPBN television and streamed free on the website mpbn.net.
