      BOYD, Archie George, 96, MARS HILL, at Presque Isle, February 9, 2015. There will not be any funeral services at this time. A committal service will be held at King’s Grove Cemetery, Mars Hill in the spring. Arrangements are under the care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, Presque Isle.

    MARS HILL – Archie George Boyd, 96, died Monday, February 9, 2015, at The Aroostook Medical Center, Presque Isle, surrounded by his family. He was born September 9, 1918, in Mars Hill, the son of Israel and Winnifred (Beem) Boyd.
    He lived and farmed his whole life in Mars Hill.
    He is survived by a son, Jay and his wife, Julianna of Mars Hill; two grandchildren, Amy Jo and William Jay and his wife, Autumn; four greatgrandchildren, Chase William, Caylee Jo, Jordan David and Jack Archie Boyd; and several nieces and nephews.
    Archie was predeceased by his wife of 52 years, Dorothy (Ackerson) Boyd; his brothers, Israel, Lambert, Eddie, Groce, Arvil and twin baby boys; and his sisters, Doris Hallett, Ruby Seymour and Greta Burtchell.
