GADAIRE, Thomas W., 50, EASTON, at Presque Isle, February 11, 2015. A service to celebrate his life will be conducted at 7 p.m. Feb. 19, 2015, at the Easton Pentecostal Church. Arrangements are under the care of Giberson-Dorsey Funeral Home, Fort Fairfield.
EASTON – Thomas W. Gadaire, 50, husband of Lisa (Michaud) Gadaire, passed away Wednesday evening, February 11, 2015, at a Presque Isle healthcare facility, following an extended illness. He was born June 19, 1964 in Ware, MA, the son of Russell L. and Joan L. (Macumber) Gadaire.
He attended Brookfield and Sturbridge, Massachusetts schools and married his sweetheart since the 5th grade, Lisa Michaud on June 25, 1988. Thomas had worked in the auto mechanic and construction industries, most recently at Aroostook Trusses, Presque Isle. He was a member of the Easton Pentecostal Church, and loved to work on vehicles, go four wheeling with his son Wesley, fishing, motorcycles, and snowmobiling with friends and family. Thomas will be remembered as a wonderful and loving son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to all. His most important daily activity was talking to his son Troy, and his proudest moment was his daughter Starla’s wedding. Thomas was always willing to extend a helping hand and never asked for anything in return.
He was predeceased by his father, Russell L. Gadaire; one brother, Stephen L. Gadaire. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Lisa Gadaire of Easton; two sons, Troy Gadaire and his companion Mellisa Lopez, and Wesley Gadaire, all of Easton; one daughter, Starla Gadaire Young and her husband, Richard, of Presque Isle; his mother and stepfather, Joan L. and Homer R. Brooks of Bondsville, MA; two brothers, Kevin P. Gadaire and his wife, Kelly, of Otis, MA, Keith A. Gadaire of Brookfield, MA; two sisters, Tammy Whitcomb and her husband, Wendell, of Charlton, MA, Sherry Lincoln and her husband, Russell, of Nunn, CO; two grandchildren, Austin and Anthony Gadaire, both of Easton; numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Thursday, February 19, 2015 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Easton Pentecostal Church, Bangor Road, Easton, where a service to celebrate Thomas’ life will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Merritt Durost officiating. A time of continued fellowship will be held after the service at the church reception hall.
