Financial services firm introduces new partner

    PRESQUE ISLE — The Presque Isle-based financial services firm of Thompson-Hamel, LLC recently announced that Bryan Thompson has been named a partner in the firm.

    Bryan Thompson joined Thompson-Hamel, LLC in August 2012 and has since secured the designation of general securities representative after passing the Series 6 and 63 exams, as well as securing his life and health producer’s licenses.  BU-Thompson Thumbnail-DCX-CLR-SHARPT-07
    With these license designations, he has been offering his clients a full array of services, including life, long-term disability and long-term care insurance policies, as well as mutual funds and various forms of annuities.

    Prior to joining Thompson-Hamel, Thompson served in various management capacities at the Defense Finance & Accounting Service Center in Limestone for 10 years. He graduated with dual bachelor’s degrees in accounting and business management/information systems from the University of Maine at Presque Isle in 2003, and earned his masters of business administration degree from Husson University in 2011.
    Thompson was recognized by UMPI with its Young Alumni award in 2007, and also serves as the head coach of the Caribou Middle School Nordic ski team.
    He and his wife, Melissa, reside in Caribou with their three children, Sydney, Landon, and Reed.
