King hires Hayslett

as Aroostook constituent service rep

U.S. Sen. Angus King (I-Maine) announced Jan. 15 that he has hired Barbara Hayslett to serve as a constituent service representative (CSR) in his Presque Isle office. As a CSR, she will work with Maine constituents to help answer questions, find resources and address problems relating to federal government agencies.

“I am thrilled to welcome Barbara Hayslett  as the newest member of my staff,” said King.FS-KingHiresHayslett-clr-cx-sharpt-03

“She has a long history of working on behalf of the people of Maine, and with her extensive experience and deep understanding of The County, I have no doubt that she will continue to be a tremendous resource for people across the area and a great addition to our team.”
Hayslett served as a Congressional liaison for more than 15 years, previously working in the Presque Isle office of both former Congressmen Mike Michaud and John Baldacci. She served as a constituent services representative and district representative for Michaud — positions she held from 2003-07 and 2007-14, respectively. Her congressional experience began as a caseworker for Baldacci from 1998-2002.
Hayslett will join Regional Representative Sharon Campbell in Sen. King’s Presque Isle office, which is located at 196 Academy St., Suite A, and can be reached by calling 764-5124.
