    TWEEDIE, Marie Mae (Michaud) Caron, 87, MARS HILL, February 18, 2015. Interment will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 9, 2015, at St. David Catholic Cemetery, St. David. Arrangements are under the care of Duncan Funeral Home, Mars Hill.

    MARS HILL – Marie Mae (Michaud) Caron Tweedie, 87, passed away on Wednesday, February 18, 2015. Marie was born April 29, 1927, in St. David, ME, the daughter of Leonard and Leonie (Fongemie) Michaud.
    Marie graduated from Madawaska High School. She worked at various jobs throughout her life including Rice Furniture, Levesque Office Supply, J.J. Newberry, Daigle’s Clothing Store, and was manager of an assisted living facility in Madawaska.
    She was a past member of St. David’s Catholic Church, the Daughters of Isabella, the Ladies of St. Anne, and was president of the American Legion Auxiliary, and a current member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Mars Hill.
    Marie is survived by her husband, Jim Tweedie of Mars Hill; her children and their spouses, James and Cheryl Caron of Plainville, CT, Yolande and Phil Morin of Bristol, CT, Verna and Don Violette of Brooks; her step-children and their spouses, Patricia and David McCrum, Michael and Susan Tweedie; and Joseph and Julie Tweedie, all of Mars Hill. She is also survived by her sisters, Bernice Desjardins of Mada-waska, and Rolande Levesque of Frenchville; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
    In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Joseph Caron; her brothers, Thomas, Clovis, Onezime and Roland.
    Friends and family called from 6-8 p.m., on Friday, February 20, 2015, at Duncan Funeral Home in Mars Hill. A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at 12 p.m., at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Mars Hill. A reception was well held after the services at the church. Interment will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 9, 2015, at St. David Catholic Cemetery, St. David.
