    PRESQUE ISLE – Rodrique G. Carrier, 74, passed away at a Presque Isle healthcare facility February 25, 2015, with his family by his side. He was born February 12, 1941, the son of the late John and Bernadette (Bourgoine) Carrier.
    Rod worked as a heavy equipment operator for Soderberg Logging in Alaska and more recently moved closer to family in Presque Isle.
    He is survived by one son, Peter Carrier of Arizona; two brothers, John Carrier and his wife, Mildred, of Chapman, and Vincent Carrier and wife, Pamela, of Presque Isle; two sisters, Bridgette Brown of Cambridge, NY, and Lucille Sheridian and husband, Dawn, of Bennington, VT; and many nieces and nephews.
    He was predeceased by his parents; one son, Jerry Carrier; one daughter, Bernadette Carrier; three brothers, Samuel, Fr. Benjamin and Leo Carrier.
    A Mass was celebrated Saturday, February, 28, 2015, at 1 p.m., at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Presque Isle, with Fr. Kyle Doustou, officiating. A time of fellowship followed at the Knights of Columbus.
