The Trees

In the winter
the leaves would fall off
one by one.
It gets cold and the leaves on trees die.
They need warmth to survive
but they can’t, they aren’t strong enough,
and the leader, winter, sends his troops,
snow and ice, to attack and kill.
None shall survive the attack
called winter.
