Bernice “Bunny” Saucier

    SAUCIER, Bernice “Bunny”, PRESQUE ISLE, April 2, 2015. A private graveside service will be held in May. Arrangements are under the care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, Presque Isle.

    PRESQUE ISLE – Bernice “Bunny” Saucier passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2015, with her family by her side. She was born in Mapleton, the daughter of Joseph and Rose (Ricker) Gallagher.
    Bunny was the family Matriarch, had a sharp mind and maintained a vast recollection of family history throughout her life. She was valedictorian of her PIHS class. Earlier on, Bunny worked as a bookkeeper for many local businesses and later as a rural mail carrier.
    Bunny is survived by her husband of 67 years, Theodore “Ted” Saucier; four children and their spouses, Pete and Lisa Saucier of Horseshoe Bay, TX, Kara and Andy Marino of Houlton, Linda Desjardins of Westfield, and Jim and Lynne Saucier of Cumberland; her 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She will also be missed by her brother, Harold Gallagher and wife, Pat; her sister, Elaine Conley; and many nieces and nephews.
    In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by three brothers; two sisters; and her son-in-law, John Desjardins.
    Bunny had a significant impact on many lives and will be greatly missed.
