MONTEITH, Paul D., 57, PRESQUE ISLE, April 3, 2015. A graveside service will be held in the spring on Friday, June 5, at 1 p.m., at Fairmount Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, Presque Isle.
PRESQUE ISLE – Paul D. Monteith, 57, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on April 3, 2015. He was born in Presque Isle on November 6, 1957, the son of Donald and Connie Monteith.
He served in the army for four years in Army Intelligence, stationed in Germany. He traveled to Hawaii, Scotland and England. He worked for Potato Service in the lab, also at VMS and various retail jobs.
He loved his cats, Patches, Misty and Smokey. He loved animals and was very kind to them. He liked going to UMPI for “Sage”. He was very friendly and outgoing.
He is survived by his mother, Connie Monteith; aunts, uncles and in-laws.
He was predeceased by his father, Donald Monteith; his paternal grandparents, Louise and Glen Dorman; maternal grandparents, Mabel and James St. Thomas; and a brother, Donald Monteith Jr.
