Putnam promoted at Katahdin Trust
HOULTON — Officials with Katahdin Trust have announced that Krista K. Putnam has been promoted to the position of vice president of marketing for the bank.
“Krista has earned this promotion by exhibiting tremendous dedication and commitment to Katahdin Trust,” said Vicki Smith, Katahdin Trust Company’s senior vice president of marketing and communications, “She is a highly valued member of our team, contributing daily to the success of the bank in all areas of advertising, marketing research, and community and public relations.”
Putnam joined Katahdin Trust Company as marketing assistant in 2003, was promoted to marketing officer in 2008 and to assistant vice president of marketing in 2012. In her new role she will continue with responsibilities in all areas of marketing and will begin to assume additional duties in management and communications.
A Washburn native, Putnam attended the Washburn school system and graduated summa cum laude from Husson University where she attained her bachelor’s degree in business administration. She is also a graduate of the American Bankers Association’s School of Bank Marketing and Management, the Northern New England School of Banking in Durham, N.H. and the Young Professionals Institute in Presque Isle. She also earned a bank marketing diploma and general banking diploma from the Northern New England Center for Financial Training.
She resides in New Limerick with her husband Andrew and their daughters Natalie and Lydia.
