Mom loved kids

The special memory that I remember of my Mom, Christine Day, was that she loved kids.

She would always babysit in our home. The time I remember most was the fall during harvest time. She babysat 13 kids ranging in all ages. She kept nine of the 13 overnight. Some of those nine kids she kept 24 hours a day seven days a week during the whole harvest season and she only charged the parents for an eight-hour day. That is how much my Mom loved kids and how she loved to help people out.
My Mom had a heart of gold. I lost my Mom 22 years ago to cancer. I love and miss her very much!
