WESTFIELD – Alta May Fulton Weeks, 90, passed away on January 28, 2015, in Humble, Texas. She was born on June 6, 1924, in Mars Hill, the daughter of Ray Fulton and Mattie Dilman.
She went to high school at Aroostook Central Institute and graduated in 1941. She worked as a Payroll Administrator for Maine Public Service Co. for 46 years. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Westfield. She volunteered for a number of organizations in her community. She was also chosen in 2003 as one of the “Women of Aroostook County”. She enjoyed writing and singing.
Alta is survived by her granddaughter, Courtney Lynn Humphress-McMaster; great-granddaughter, Lilian Faith McMaster, great-grandson, Ronald Lee McMaster III of Humble, TX; and cousin, Norma Lowery of Monticello, ME.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Eugene R. Weeks; and daughter, Alicia Anne Ochoa.
A memorial service will be held 1 p.m., May 9, 2015, at Calvary Baptist Church, corner of Bell Street and Main Street, Westfield, with Rev. Larry Palmer, officiating.
