PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — The Micmac Service Unit, located at 8 Northern Road, will host a bicycle safety rodeo for school-aged children on Saturday, May 30 beginning at 1 p.m.
A course will be set up in the parking area that will simulate situations that bicyclist encounter and they will be instructed on how to safely deal with them.
Additionally, bikes will be checked for safety issues and helmets will be given away to those who don’t own them.
This event will be co-sponsored by Nordic Heritage Center and Bike Board and Ski of Presque Isle.
