ASHLAND, Maine — Ashland District School senior Lacey Good, of Ashland, recently received the 2015 Principal’s Award. The award, sponsored by the Maine Principals’ Association, is given in recognition of a high school senior’s academic achievement and citizenship.
“Lacey Good has truly made her mark at Ashland District School in terms of her school service, scholarship and leadership,” said Principal Joel Hall. “Lacey is an outstanding student with high goals and expectations for herself.
“Lacey has always excelled while taking the most difficult classes ADS has to offer,” he said. “She has participated in many other co-curricular activities in order to stay a well-rounded student.”
Good, the daughter of Randy and Judy Good, is planning to attend the University of Maine this fall.
The Principal’s Award is presented in more than 100 Maine public and private high schools by member principals of the MPA, the professional association that represents Maine’s school administrators.
