Easton recognizes sports participants
Easton Junior/Senior High School held its annual athletic awards night April 28 in the Easton Elementary School. The evening began with the awards ceremony and concluded with everyone in attendance enjoying a cookie. Varsity club advisor Leslie Carlow, along with athletic director Steve Shaw, served as mistress and master of ceremonies for the event.
Coach Bryan Shaw presented certificates to the following junior high girls soccer players: Lydia Ferris, Ashley Cowley, Cecilia Morin, Matigan Dow, Kaylee Boyce, Eva Callioras, Emma Lamoreau, Olivia Lamoreau and Kassidi Hanson. Alexis Pelkey was presented with a certificate for managing the team.
Shaw also presented certificates to the girls’ junior varsity basketball team. Those members include Ceceila Ferris, Delaney Leach, Autumn Gray, Delia Bonner, Breann Clayton, Abigail Currier and Paige Flewelling.
Coach Roxanne Poole presented certificates to the following junior high girls basketball team: Lydia Ferris, Kassidi Hanson, Emma Lamoreau, Kaylee Boyce, Matigan Dow, Cecilia Morin and Eva Callioras. Alexis Pelkey and Olivia Lamoreau were presented with a certificate for managing the team.
Coach Travis Carter presented certificates to the following junior high boys soccer players: Hunter Dudley, Gavin Pangburn, Wilder Mitchell, Carson Flewelling, Kooper Kinney, Matthew Pangburn, Kyle Flewelling, Camden Michaud, Kody Carter, Paul Bonner, Austin Carver, Zacharey Mills, Mitchell Flewelling, Christopher Busse, Isaac Currier, Troy Chasse and Kirtas Jandreau.
Carter also presented certificates to the following junior high boys basketball players: Isaac Currier, Hunter Dudley, Carson Flewelling, Kooper Kinney, Camden Michaud, Gavin Pangburn, Austin Carver, Kirtas Jandreau, Kody Carter, Kyle Flewelling, Mitchell Flewelling, Christopher Busse, Matthew Quimby, Dawson Haney and Paul Bonner. Manager Shelliese Mullen was also presented with a certificate.
Carlow, the varsity cheerleading coach, presented bars to the following cheerleaders: Kelsey Frank, Kristen West and Toria Tarbox. A pin was presented to Macey Currier, Kelsey Frank, Kristen West, Kerrigan Arnett, Acacia Kimball and Ian McLean. Jenna Perkins received a letter.
Coach Shaw presented bars to the following varsity girls basketball players: Alexandra Allen, Kylee Carter and Hannah Ferris. Pins were presented to Kalie Ward, Taylor Brown and Elise Allen. A letter was given to Isabelle Morin. Certificates were presented to Madison Leach, Ashley Hersey, Nichole Dudley, Taylor Howe, Madison Shaw, Blake Bradley, Emma Bonner and Sara Gilman. Manager Abigail Currier was presented with a letter.

A bar was presented to Hannah Ferris, Kylee Carter, Kelsey Frank, Kristen West, Kerrigan Arnett and Alexandra Allen. Kalie Ward received her letter and pin. Nichole Dudley, Ashley Hersey, Emma Bonner, Taylor Brown, Elise Allen and Sara Gilman received pins. A letter was presented to Taylor Howe, Isabelle Morin and Blake Bradley. Certificates were presented to Delaney Leach, Delia Bonner, Caitlin Monroe, Abigail Currier, Madison Leach and Paige Flewelling. Abigail Thompson received a bar for managing the team.

Assistant coach Danny Warren, on behalf of coach Dillon Kingsbury, presented the following boys varsity basketball awards: a bar was presented to Connor Burtt, Cody Halvorson and Logan Halvorson. Brian Corbin received a letter and pin. Nicholas Clark, Drew Sotomayor and Jacob Flewelling all received a pin. Hunter Brown received his letter. A certificate was presented to Michael Brown, Collin Sotomayor, Jason Gurley and Trevor Hathaway. Manager Zachary Lamoreau was presented with a letter and pin and managers Trevor Hathaway and Jason Gurley were presented with a letter.
Warren presented certificates to the following junior varsity boys basketball players: Zachary Lamoreau, Trevor Hathaway, Jason Gurley, Ryan West, Keagan Kinney and Brandon Quimby.
