WILLIAMSON, Rodney M., 65, BRIDGEWATER, at Presque Isle, July 6, 2015. Arrangements are under the care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, Mars Hill.
BRIDGEWATER – Rodney Merle Williamson, 65, beloved son of LaVerna Williamson and the late Merle Williamson, passed into the arms of his blessed Lord Jesus on July 6, 2015, at The Aroostook Medical Center in Presque Isle.
Rodney was a heavy equipment operator, owned and operated his own equipment in road construction for 35-40 years. He was a sensitive man, a good judge of character, kind hearted, and was especially good to his mother. He had wisdom and used it when talking about his God. He loved children and animals, especially his dog, King and his cat, Big Foot.
Rod was a private man and didn’t want to share his many health problems.
He is survived by his mother of Bridgewater; two aunts, Patricia Tuba of CT, and June Weeks of Presque Isle; several cousins, Carolyn “Sissy” Marlardo of CT, Cindy “Dinny” Blanchette of NH, Annette “his baby” Airbas of Pittsburgh, PA, Charlene Walker of Winslow, and Alton Weeks of Blaine; a good friend, Wayne Bradstreet of Bridgewater.
He was predeceased by his dad in 2008; his grandfather, Kenneth Bulley; gram, Effie Bulley; Nina Williamson and Frank Williamson were in heaven waiting for him.
A graveside service was held at 2 p.m., Thursday, July 9, 2015, at Smith Cemetery, Bridgewater, with Reverends Mark Carter and Robert Peters officiating.
