    DUPLESSIS, Mary E. (Michaud), 61, PRESQUE ISLE, July 7, 2015. A memorial service will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, July 18, at the Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, Presque Isle.

    PRESQUE ISLE – Mary E. (Michaud) Duplessis, 61, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully July 7, 2015, at her home in Presque Isle. She was born October 7, 1953, in Bangor, the daughter of Harry and Erastine (Melvin) Michaud.
    She married her high school sweetheart, Richard Duplessis, 40 years ago. They had five children. Mary Ellen graduated from Presque Isle High School and Mercy Hospital School of nursing in Portland. She worked as a registered nurse at Cary Medical Center and The Aroostook Medical Center for many years in ICU, recovery room, Med Surg, and day surgery.
    She was active in the many school activities of her children as well as an active member of the State Road Advent Christian Church, serving in many different capacities.
    She was predeceased by her parents.
    Mary is survived by her husband, Richard; son, Benjamin of Fairfield; daughter, Ellen Keister of Roanoke, VA, and son-in-law, Jon with grandson, Jonah; son, Daniel of Goldsboro, NC, and daughter-in-law, Casey with grandson, Danny; daughter, Sarah of Presque Isle and her financé, Joseph Bell; and son, Andrew of Blooming-dale, GA, and daughter-in-law, Kristi.
    A memorial service will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, July 18, 2015, at the Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church Street, Presque Isle, with Rev. Gregory Moody officiating. Friends may call from noon until time of service at the funeral home.
    The family wishes to thank the community for their generous support following her accident in 2003. They also wish to thank her supportive friends, especially Mitzi McKinney, Mary McCarthy, Jackie Pelletier and Nancy Lewis; her caregivers and Hospice of Aroostook staff for all their excellent care and support.
