Cell carrier announces expanded network area
BANGOR — U.S. Cellular, in conjunction with its partner, King Street Wireless, has announced that Somerset, Piscataquis and Aroostook County residents now have expanded access to 4G LTE services.
This latest U.S. Cellular network expansion brings additional 4G LTE service to Acadia, Castle Hill, East Dover, Fort Kent Mills, Greenville, Hammond, Littleton, Monticello, Sherman Mills, Spragueville and Van Buren, among other towns.
Matt Kasper, director of sales for U.S. Cellular in New England, said, “This network expansion brings fast 4G LTE speeds to Somerset, Piscataquis and Aroostook counties, that other carriers ignore. We’re committed to providing our customers the best high-quality network and making sure that their phone works when and where they need it – wherever they are.”
