Buck Construction wins Mapleton LL title
MAPLETON, Maine — Buck Construction captured the Mapleton Little League championship Aug. 12, 2015, topping Doyen Farms in the finals by a score of 11-4.
Buck Construction was also the regular season champion. Doyen Farms took second, followed by Mapleton Diner in third and Buck Farms in fourth.
Special award winners for the four teams were as follows:
Buck Construction: Coach’s Award: Mitchell Dumais; Most Improved: Graham Berry; and Most Valuable Player: Chance Bragan.
Doyen Farms: Coach’s Award: Connor DeMerchant; Most Improved: Malcolm York; and Most Valuable Player: Zachary Fletcher.
Mapleton Diner: Coach’s Award: Jackson Maynard; Most Improved: Jonah Roy; and Most Valuable Player: Connor Rideout
Buck Farms: Coach’s Award: Tyler Farnham; Most Improved: Chase Guerrette; and Most Valuable Player: Nate Willett.
