Webxcentrics provides quality service
at affordable price
Webxcentrics Design Group is a small local company that prides itself on the ability to help businesses develop an online presence without spending a fortune.
The company was founded by Jim Walker and his sister, Nancy Price, in 1995 during the early days of website development. Walker sold the business to Maine Farmers Exchange in 2003 during the time that MFX was operating an Internet access business.
MFX sold that part of the business to Pioneer Wireless in 2005, but retained Webxcentrics Design Group and in 2010 acquired Web Impressions, another website design firm, from David Bell of Caribou. The result is a portfolio of customers that stretch from New York to New Brunswick.
Webxcentrics is located at 422 Main Street in Presque Isle, with Price and Dan Breton the lone employees.
“We have designed sites for leading retail, commercial and industrial organizations as well as non-profit and chambers of commerce,” Breton said. “If you currently have a site design that is just not what you want to portray, or if you would like to have us design and implement a site for you, contact us and we will give you a free quote.”
The business provides website hosting, maintenance, design, email and domains and hours are 6 a.m.-5 p.m.
“Great customer service is the key to our success over the last 20 years,” Breton said. “Our service rates are very reasonable. Our clients have been pleasantly surprised as to the results we can achieve with these rates.
“Customer service is what we are about. Without it, we have no business,” he added.
The business phone number is 764-4024 and the email is info@webxcentrics.com.
