Jim’s Automotive is celebrating 41 years of business in the county! They are proud to be a local business, and they do their best to support commerce in Aroostook County.
Whether you’re a student heading off to college, a young couple just starting out, a busy parent or a retired senior, Jim’s Automotive has economical solutions to all your transportation needs.
People from all walks of life need dependable vehicles for under $5,000 — students, parents or just someone looking to add an extra car for their family for whatever reason. This could include in winter, to save their “good car.” Or it may be because they need cheaper transportation.
Owner Jim Burrill enjoys working from home at 557 Griffin Ridge Rd., Mapleton where he has seven to 20 vehicles for sale on his lot.
Rather than getting his cars from auctions, Burrill buys from local individuals and dealers from all over The County. In fact, many clean, rust-free cars come from the St. John Valley and are very well maintained.
Mechanical work is done for Jim’s Automotive’s by Mark’s Pro Service and Service First Automotive here in Mapleton. Parts and tires are from local stores, and paint work is done by two local shops.
Detailing is done in-house by Sherry Gardiner and Pamela “Chickie” Adams. Michaela Morneault handles all of the office work and helps out Jim with sales.
Customer service is the number-one priority at Jim’s Automotive, and they do their best to make buying a vehicle an easy and pleasant experience — whether that means meeting a customer somewhere convenient or even delivering a vehicle right to their house or business. The Jim’s team wants to extend Aroostook County hospitality to each and every customer they deal with.
