PRESQUE ISLE – Don C. James, 84, passed away peacefully Sept. 18, 2015, at a Presque Isle health care facility. He was born October 22, 1930, the son of Harvey and Alice (Hayden) James. He served in the U.S. Army in Germany 1953-1955. Don farmed at James Bros. for many years with his father and brother. 
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Lois (Kidney) James; his son, Stephen Paul James, both of Presque Isle; a daughter, Ann Marie Joles and her husband, Christopher of Bangor; and a granddaughter, Alexzea Marie James Joles of Bangor. He was predeceased by his daughter, Linda James in 1973; a brother, Harold James; an infant sister, Barbara James; and a sister-in-law, Ruth James.
The family wishes to thank all the staff at Presque Isle Rehab. and Nursing for all the support and kindness.
