PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — The Presque Isle Fire Department will welcome the community Saturday, Oct. 10, 2015 to the fire station for its Open House celebration from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
“We have lots of great activities this year, including a bike rodeo where we will be handing out bicycle helmets and offering bicycle safety,” said Deputy Fire Chief Adam Rider. “We will also be having a hot dog roast.”
The children’s bicycle rodeo will be held from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. The event will also feature fire safety trailer demonstrations, K-9 demonstrations, a display by the Maine Forest Service, child safety seat checks and an appearance by Sprinkler the Clown.
The public is encouraged to attend; events are free.
