GRAND FALLS, NB — At Hotel-Dieu of Saint Joseph Hospital, Perth-Andover, October 3, 2015, Mrs. Anna McCarthy of Grand Falls (Portage) passed away at the age of 71. She was the wife of Cyril McCarthy. Born at Presque Isle, ME in 1943, she was a daughter of the late William and Mildred (Kenney) Lint.
She is survived by her husband, three children, Jodi Dow Barry of Jacksonville, FL, Troy Dow (Sandra) of Richmond, VA and Nichole McCarthy of Grand Falls, seven grandchildren, Joshua, Camryn, Ethan, Kaitlyn, Cassidy, Riley and Tristen, two sisters, Claudene Brown (Malcolm) of Mapleton, ME and Wanda Passero (Patrick) of Bangor, ME, as well as nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Eric Dow, grandson, Ryan Lumley and brother, Cecil Lint.
Her funeral service will be held from St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, Grand Falls (Portage) on Wednesday, October 7th at 11 a.m. (Canadian Time) with Father Gilbert Doddatto officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery. There will not be any visiting hours prior to the funeral service.
