Longtime school director renews his promise to serve

    To the editor:
Please accept my thanks for those who supported my re-election to the MSAD 1 school board.

Every vote does count. Whether you voted for me or my opponent, or did not vote at all, I remain committed to assuring that every student attending MSAD 1 schools has the opportunity to receive a high quality education at the most reasonable cost. This is my personal commitment to our communities.
As I visited nearly 250 homes in District 3, I renewed that commitment to high quality student and family-centered education programs that are strong, stable, caring and cost-efficient while continuing to lead the state with quality, innovative education programs.
Being the senior board member, I learned to follow the simple rule that assuring the finest teachers, best materials and equipment and excellent facilities are the keys to providing the many educational pathways needed by our children and youth.
As your elected representative to the school board, I strive to represent the desires and concerns families have about MSAD 1 education services. I reamain available to answer your questions, hear your ideas or assist you with school-related concerns. You may reach me by calling my home at 764-4916 anytime.
