Cheer coach joins studio
PRESQUE ISLE — Kim Lauritsen, owner of MoonDance Studios at The Aroostook Centre Mall in Presque Isle, has announced the addition of Joshua Barnes as their new elite cheer and gymnastics coach.
Barnes comes to the local studio as a veteran coach with many certifications. His last employment was with Top Gun Cheer in Florida. He will lead the Blue Devils, an elite competition cheer team with athletes from ages 18 and under.
The studio will also expand its tumbling program to include all professional apparatus with instruction on uneven bars, vaulting horse and balance beam.
