The Owl men’s team bounced back from last Wednesday’s home loss to UM-Fort Kent by beating UM-Farmington on the road Saturday.

In the home contest against UMFK, the Owls fell victim to a 15-4 scoring run by the Bengals during a seven-minute stretch in the second half, which translated to a 74-58 loss. UMPI had no answer for Joe McCloskey, who scored 26 points and grabbed nine rebounds in a dominating effort.
UMPI was led by Collins, who had 13 points, seven rebounds and four assists. Brandon McGill notched 12 points in the loss.
The Owl women made the trip to Pennsylvania over the weekend and lost both games in the Pepsi Tip-Off Tournament held in Selinsgrova, Pa.
