On Saturday, Dec. 12, 2015, Santa Claus will arrive in Washburn on top of a Washburn Fire Department truck.
After a brief tour of the town thanks to the Washburn Fire and Rescue, he will stop at Story Park. At Story Park he will be there to collect letters and take photos and the Washburn Fire and Rescue has a small bag of goodies to hand out to visitors.
There will be Hot Cocoa available provided by Tim Hortons, so bring your letters and cameras and come down to meet Santa. In case of bad weather Santa will be inside the Washburn Fire Station.
