     COFFIN, Susan G., 53, PORTLAND & PRESQUE ISLE, at Portland, December 6, 2015. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 12, at 2 p.m. at the South Gorham Baptist Church, Gorham. Arrangements by A.T. Hutchins Funeral and Cremation Services, Portland.

    PORTLAND & PRESQUE ISLE – Susan G. Coffin, 53, passed away December 6, 2015, after her courageous battle with Pancreatic Cancer with her family by her side.
    Susan was born April 24, 1962, in Houlton, ME, to Betty (Boulier) Farley and Gordon Fox. She graduated from Presque Isle High School in 1980 and began her career with the Maine Mutual Group Insurance Company where she worked for 15 years. She moved to Portland in 1995, working for other agencies, including TD Insurance in South Portland. She was currently employed with the Concord Insurance Group working out of her home as an underwriter, which she loved.
    She enjoyed motorcycle riding, scrapbooking, watching horror movies, and being near the ocean, especially at her family home at Fifield Point in Stonington.
    Her sparkling blue eyes and bright smile touched the hearts of many, as well as her thoughtfulness and kindness towards others.
    She was predeceased by her sister, Sally Ann Fox; and their mother, Betty Farley.
    She is survived by her life partner, Betsy Hardy of Portland; her children, Taryn C. Coffin of Dover, NH, and Bryce Coffin of Portland; their father, Terrence P. Coffin Jr. and his wife, Myra; sister, Tracy L. Sylvester and CB Sylvester of Brunswick; and father, Gordon G. Fox of Presque Isle.
    Many thanks to Hospice of Southern Maine as well as Mary Walker who provided much kindness and laughter during her long journey.
    Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2015, from 12 noon until 2 p.m. with a Celebration of Life at 2 p.m. at the South Gorham Baptist Church, 53 County Road, Route 22, Gorham, ME. A reception will follow in the church sanctuary. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Southern Maine, 180 US Route 1, Scarborough, ME 04074.
