DEARBORN, Henry M., Jr., 85, BRIDGEWATER, December 8, 2015. Arrangements are under the care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, Presque Isle.
BRIDGEWATER – Henry M. Dearborn Jr., 85, went home to be with his Lord on December 8, 2015, with his family by his side. He was born in Blaine on April 12, 1930, the son of Henry and Dorothy (Tompkins) Dearborn.
He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Henry loved farming and enjoyed working at his family farm in Bridgewater. He was also a member of the Bridgewater Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Yvonne (Slipp) Dearborn; his daughter, Janine and her husband, Benjamin Moore of Delaware and their children, Branden and Wayne and his wife, Heather; his daughter, Cleo Zaccardi and her husband, Dana of Blaine and their children, Marcie Halbmaier and her husband, Jason, and their son, Zaccaria, Alan Zaccardi and his girlfriend, Ashley of Delaware. He will also be missed by his brother, Fred Dearborn and his wife, Rita of Blaine; his sister, Betty Lou Grimmette of Michigan.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Louis; and a sister, Audrey Finnemore.
Family and friends called 10-11 a.m., Saturday December 12, 2015, at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle, where a memorial service with military honors was held at 11 a.m. with Pastor Bob Peters officiating.
