Wortman named PI branch manager
PRESQUE ISLE — The Board of Directors and President of NorState Federal Credit Union have announced the promotion of Tammy R. Wortman to branch manager of NorState Federal Credit Union’s Presque Isle branch.
Wortman has been employed by the credit union since 2007, and most recently as a loan officer.
Wortman grew up in Madawaska and currently lives in Ashland with her husband, Roland, and has five children. She is a graduate of Madawaska High School.
“Locally I serve as president of the Presque Isle AGLOW Community Lighthouse,” said Wortman. “I also enjoy being involved in my church and being a busy mom of very active high-school-aged children, and my interests include home d√©cor and DIY projects.”
Nancy Marquis-Cyr, executive vice president of NorState, stated, “Tammy’s abilities to serve her membership and community, participate in staff functions, and be a reliable go-to and get-it-done person, make her a huge asset to the Presque Isle area. Her knowledge of real estate and consumer lending adds value in her daily functions that include overseeing staff and our central Aroostook office.”
NorState Federal Credit Union serves Aroostook and northern Penobscot Counties with six branch offices in Madawaska, Van Buren, Eagle Lake, Ashland, Fort Kent and Presque Isle.
