HEWITT, Martin A., 57, PRESQUE ISLE, January 20, 2016. A graveside service will be held in the Summer at Estes Cemetery in Easton. Arrangements are in care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, Presque Isle.
PRESQUE ISLE – Martin A. Hewitt, 57, passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2016, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Presque Isle, the son of Maurice and Marie (Smith) Hewitt.
Marty grew up in Easton and attended Easton High School. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing and snow sledding. He worked as a carpenter most of his life.
He is survived by his sons, Troy Hewitt of Saco, and Tony Grazino of Presque Isle; his mother, Marie Hewitt of Easton; his siblings, Michael Hewitt of Easton, Mark Hewitt of Presque Isle, Maurice Hewitt of Flora Home, FL, and Mary Ellen Hewitt of Bradenton, FL; and his granddaughter, Brittany. He will also be missed by many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his ex-wife, Robin Hewitt.
