40th reunion meeting
The Central Aroostook High School Class of 1976 will hold a meeting Saturday, Feb. 13 at 10 a.m. at the high school to plan its 40th reunion. Anyone willing to help plan this fun time is encouraged to attend. For more information, contact Kim Field at 694-6925.
Aroostook Health Center
Upcoming events for the week of Feb. 3-9 include: Wednesday will feature Beauty Parlor at 8:30 a.m., Crossword Puzzles at 9:30 a.m. and Resident’s Council at 2 p.m. Thursday will feature Beauty Parlor at 8:30 a.m., Bingo at 9:30 a.m. and Horse Racing at 1:30 p.m.
Friday will feature Valentine Jingo at 9:30 a.m. and Karaoke with Larry and Larry at 1:30 p.m. Saturday will Bingo at 1:30 p.m. Sunday will feature a Full Gospel Assembly Service at 3 p.m.
Monday will feature Nail Beautiful at 10 a.m., Game Time at 1:30 p.m. and Gospel Group at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday will feature the Beauty Parlor at 8:30 a.m., Bingo at 9:30 a.m. and Card Games at 1:30 p.m.
All of these activities are subject to change. If you would like to volunteer to help with any of these activities, call Connie or Vicki at 768-4915.
Rotary Club
The Mars Hill Rotary Club met Jan. 26 at the Aroostook Health Center. Rotarian Eric “Doc” Nicholas spoke to the group about taking the steps to form an Interact Club in the local high school. He said the first Interact Club was formed in 1962 and works to engage students between the ages of 14 and 18.
Bingo held Saturdays
The William Cousins Post 118 of Mars Hill is hosting Bingo on Saturday evening beginning at 7 p.m. at the Post. There are cash prizes and refreshments are available. Come on out and enjoy a fun evening with friends!
