OAKFIELD & PRESQUE ISLE – Joyce H. Wright Tardie joined the rest of her brothers, sisters, father and mother in Heaven on January 27, 2016. She was born in Oakfield on August 22, 1940, to Harry Wright and Avis (Shorey) Wright.
Joyce enjoyed putting puzzles together, doing plastic canvas and doing embroidery work. She loved garage sales, loved to laugh, and swap pocketbooks.
Joyce spent the last six years of her life at the Presque Isle Rehab and Nursing Center along with her sister, Kitty. There they both received the best of care and lots of love. Thanks to ALL PIRNC employees who took the time to speak and share a smile on their way by.
Joyce was pre-deceased by her parents, Harry and Avis Wright; two brothers, Robert and Henry of Oakfield; three sisters, Velma Heath of Smyrna Mills, Evelyn (Kitty) Morton of Mapleton and an infant sister.
Joyce is survived by her husband of 52 years, Wayne (Butch) Tardie of Caribou; and one son, Wayne Eric Tardie, his wife, Maureen, and two granddaughters of Florida.
